We can’t wait to get it into your hands on May 30th! #systemshock #shodan /wo8DfMW26T On behalf of the #nightdivestudios team and all of our partners, THANK YOU to the fans for supporting us throughout the game’s development. We’d encourage giving it a go even if you’ve never played the original, after all it was one of our favourite titles that we played at Gamescom last year. Digital pre-orders for the game also come with a bonus copy of System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition. It’ll cost $49.95 and there’s a free demo available to download for anyone keen to see how this faithful, but still fresh-feeling remake has taken shape. You can wishlist or pre-purchase System Shock on Steam now. The game will release on PC only on May 30, with no further information on when it’ll make its way to other platforms. The studio tweeted the news early this morning, thanking fans for all of their support on behalf of Nightdive and all of its partners. After a few false starts, developer Nightdive Studios has finally been able to reveal that work on the launch-ready version of the highly-anticipated System Shock remake is done, with the game going gold and set to hit its planned release date of May 30th (31st in Aussie timezones).
